Maddie turned 5 months old on June 24th. Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that she was born!

- She can sit up all by herself
- LOVES her cereal
- Her favorite baby food is pears, apples and carrots
- LOVES her jumper she can jump so high
- In 6 months clothes
- Rolls over in all directions
- Scoots herself on her back
- Can get on all fours when she is on her stomach

June 7th was our 2 year anniversary. I can't believe it has been 2 years already. I am so lucky to have Ethan in my life. I love him more than I ever thought I could!

Maddie turned 3 months old on saturday. She rolled over for the first time today and rolls over like crazy now. She is starting to suck her thumb instead of her binky something I dont want her to do and she smiles all the time. She is getting so big and we just love her so much.

The day finally came, our 3rd trip to St. George this month ended with Maddie's blessing. This past Sunday we blessed Maddie in Ethan's families ward. It is still kind of weird to think that we have a little one of our own. We are so lucky to have Maddie, she is such a blessing in our lives. She is such a good baby and is happy most of the time. We love St. George and can't wait until we can move back there. The long drives aren't as easy as they use to be, Maddie can only handle about 4 or 5 hours of it. Maddie is 2 months old today! I can't believe how much time flies by. She had her 2 month check up yesterday and she is getting so big. The doctor called her petite because she is so tiny. She is starting to smile and coo so much. We just love her and are so grateful for her!

My sister had her baby 4 days before me and she named her Summer Alyse. They blessed her on March 21st and this was Maddie's first sunday at church. She did so awesome.

Can you believe it? Maddie is already 1 month old today. Time has just flown by and I have enjoyed being off work and spending time with Maddie. We are so lucky to have her and just love her so much. She is an awesome sleeper and sleeps through the whole night. We are spoiled and can't be any happier.

Maddie Nicole Carter has finally arrived! After a long and hard labor she was born on Jan 24th at 11:20pm, she was 8 lbs 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is such a beautiful baby and we are so excited for her to finally be here. Mom and baby are doing excellent.

The Holidays

The holidays have come and gone bringing a new year. We spent our holidays up here in Logan, no traveling for someone who is 9 months pregnant. This Christmas my mom came up and stayed a week with us, Ethan's family came to Ogden on Christmas Day. We had an awesome Christmas and got lots of gifts.

This past saturday I am 37 weeks,3 more weeks to go. Last week I started going to the doctor every week. Our little girl is measuring 2 weeks early and has a heartbeat of 125. Hopefully soon we will have pictures of our baby girl.

WOW... Ethan and I are behind on our blogging... It's been a busy fall for the Carter Clan... To start out, I'm now 27 wks, and starting to get anxious, mainly because I'm beginning the acid reflux stag, and all the fun stuff as you wait for the baby to come. Our little girl is growing and the pregnancy is going great.
Between the many trips to St. George to watch Eric, Ethan's little brother, play football for Snow Canyon, we got to go see Brad Paisley in concert, with Derks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne. It was so much fun, we loved it.. This weekend, I had my first Baby shower, my mom put it on, and I loved it, We got such cute Baby stuff.

On Sept. 2nd we had our 20 week ultrasound... which means it's a GIRL! I was really suprised, a few weeks ago Ethan kept saying it was going to be a girl and he was right. We couldn't be happier! For my first pregnancy it has been fairly easy, not much morning sickness and it has been easy going. In fact I would not realize I was pregnant if it wasn't for my little baby bump. I just strated feeling her move this past week (well...I think it is her). We are pretty excited. Here are a few pictures of our beautiful baby girl.

That's right I just turned 22 and it's true... I'm PREGNANT! We are so excited and it was hard to keep a secret as long as we did. I will be 14 weeks on Saturday, my due date is Jan 25th. Only 6 more weeks until we find out what we are having. My birthday was July 21st, we celebrated it with my family in Salt Lake. My friend Whitney and Bre threw me a birthday party on the 20th, we had a lot of fun. I have such good friends. I couldn't ask for a better life! P.S Emily had her baby girl on July 9th. Her name is Chloe Mae and she was 7lbs 5oz and 191/2 inches. She is a beautiful little girl. We couldn't be happier for them.

Today is our one year anniversary!!! I can't believe how fast it has flown by. I am so lucky to be married to Ethan, I don't know what I would do without him. I can't wait for the years to come. I Love You, Ethan!

Ethan and I decided to start a new hobby, so the first sign of a nice day we grabbed our fishin pools and headed to Newton Reservoir in Cache Valley in search of tiger muskie. All we caught was a hole lot of sun and no fish but we still had lots of fun.

Vegas Baby...

Spring break for Utah State so we headed down to Vegas for a little vacation and shopping. The trip started with one night in Cedar with my family. It is always good to see my mom and sister. Then it was off to Vegas, we stayed at the Monte Carlo and spent time shopping at the outlets and walking on the strip. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory, I love their fried macoroni and cheese balls. We ended the trip by staying in St. George with Ethan's family. It was a well needed break.

This past weekend we had a visitor, Brooke's sister Blaire came to spend the weekend. So, We hit the slopes at the local ski resort Beaver Mountain. We had a good weekend, and a great time snowboarding. We love having visitors, we get lonely up here in the frozen tundra, we hope the spring comes fast.

It feels a lot like Christmas... Today was the first snowy day in Logan, Chevy finally got to pull out his snow jacket. Along with the snow came the Christmas spirit in our house.

This past weekend we had a ton of fun. On friday night we had a pumpkin party. I carved my very first pumpkin. Mine was supposed to be a haunted house but it kind of broke and I had to stick it back together with a toothpick. Oops.

On saturday night we went to Ogden and went out to eat at Roosters with Emily and brandon. It was good to see them again. After Dinner we went on a ghost tour. It was so much fun. We took a lot of pictures. We went down 25th street, a hotel, a graveyard and a theater.

We spent this past weekend in St. George with Ethan's family and in Cedar City with my family. I love going home and seeing our famiy. It was our Friends Willy and Rikki's wedding and Eric's homecoming game and dance. The wedding was so beautiful and I am so happy for them. Eric's homecoming group ate dinner at his parent's house and everything looked so nice. It was fun helping set up everything. In cedar we watched conference with my family, that was fun too. I love watching conference.
